Dialog between teacher and student


Student : Good morning Miss, how are you ?
Teacher : morning too, I’m fine do you have problem that you want to say !
Student : yes miss, I want ask about pH in chemical substance
Teacher : oh, oke oke please talk ?
Student : first, I want ask what is definition of pH Miss ?
Teacher : pH or power of  hydrogen is the acidity that is used to express the               degree of acidity or alkali nity of a solution which is owned by
Student : whether it can be defined, Miss ?
Teacher : pH can to definition as kalogaritma dissolved hydrogen (H+) ion activity
Student : oh, that means the hydrogen ion activity coefficients can’t be measured experimentally, so they are based on theoretical calculations.
Teacher : yes of caurse, pH scale is not the absolutions scale. It’s relative to a set of standar solution whose pH was stipulated by international treaties.
Student : what pH will exchange if I mix acid solution with conjugation acid Miss
Teacher : oh, if you do that, the pH not change because that become buffer solution
Student : okay Miss , thank you. Now, I understand about pH
Teacher : you’re welcome, I feel happy if you can understand fast
Student : see you, Miss
Teacher : see you to in the next class tomorrow.

  1. PH is a measure used to express the acidity of a solution or the concentration of H + ions in solution. So what is the relationship between H + and PH?

    1. It has been mentioned previously that the acidic nature of a substance is the H + ion. The more H + ions in an acid solution, the acidic the stronger. PH represents the concentration of H + ions in an acid solution. Mathematically formulated as follows:

      pH = -log [H+]

The teacher's approach is the process, the way or the approaching actions of a teacher to the learners to create an effective and efficient learning process, in teaching, the teacher must be clever to use the approach wisely and wisely, the teacher's view of the students will determine the attitude and deeds. Every teacher does not always have the same views in assessing students, this will affect the approach that teachers take in teaching.

    1. pH is a measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions in a solution. Strong acids like hydrochloric acid at the sort of concentrations you normally use in the lab have a pH around 0 to 1. The lower the pH, the higher the concentration of hydrogen ions in the solution.
